Day 23- Hyper Danube

I had a lot of work to do today at home that I brought with me from work. But, I still wanted to relax and enjoy my weekend as much as I can. After Friday Prayer, my husband wanted to go and get a few things from the grocery store. He remembered a store that my friend mentioned to me and he wanted to go to it. It’s called Hyper Danube, which I find kind of funny how they name the bigger version of a certain store “Hyper”, the way we name our stores “Super”, as in Super Wal-Mart or Super Target. It’s kind of cute too.

Well, this store was AMAZING! It was huge, clean, and very well organized. And the best thing, it had tons and tons of products that I haven’t seen or haven’t found anywhere else! It’s defiantly my new place to grocery shop. Again, since it’s a “Hyper” store, it’s not just groceries. It had things for the house and kitchen ware and things for your garden, and so on.

We came home around 3 pm and I’ve been working and work-related things until now, when I stopped to write this entry since it’s getting late and it’s almost time for bed. I did make my first Saudi style coffee (which I had to borrow the actually coffee and the thermes from Kristi, glad she’s my neighbor!), but it wasn’t that great! I think I over-cooked it. Either way, inshAllah I will go and get all the right ingredients to make real good coffee.
