Day 16- Lazy Friday

I decided that I needed to sleep in today, so I didnt wake up until almost 12 pm. My husband went to Friday prayer. I had bought some ground beed a few days ago and havent cooked it, so I thought to make some pasta today. It turned out pretty good, and even though I made half of the small bag, it still was more than I could eat (as is the usual with pasta), so Bassam decided to give it to our doorman.

I mostly was working on a few things on the pc for work. I didnt want to waste the day just working, so I cleaned up the house a little bit and told my house we should go out.

We went to this shopping area where there was shops and shops of rugs and carpet. I've been wanting a pure white area rug for my living room and I just can't find the right one. I found a white one at IKEA, but it's not the material that I've been looking for. After losing hope of ever finding one, we left.

We went to HyperPanda, a big grocery store, and got a few things. We saw the religious police outside giving advice to these girls for not wearing the abaya the right way. Afterwards, we went to a furniture store called Demos to try to find a office chair. Couldn't find anything we really like. It's either there isn't good products out there or we are just so damn picky!

I picked up my skirt from the tailor, and it fit pretty good! I'm very impressed. I will definatly have him make more of my skirts for work since we have to wear long skirts, no pants or short skirts allowed. Which is fine, I got used to it.

I will make a salad with some pineapples. Sounds yummy!
