Day 18- Hectic Day at Work

Sunday October 4th, 2009

The title says it all! I was extremely busy at work with the Mentoring Diploma course content. The thing is, I already worked on it and researched it and gathered tons of information on it, but it’s all in English. Now, they want me to translate it to Arabic, which is taking longer than expected. Hopefully I can get it done tomorrow, inshAllah.

We also met with the potential students who will join this program. Out of the 35, only 17 girls showed up! Granted it was during the day, and most of them have jobs, but I hope the majority of them actually show up to class when it starts next week (I will be teaching a course called Principles of Mentoring) and it will be taught at night, so that it doesn’t conflict with anyone’s jobs or schedules.

I’ve been really wanting some Pringles lately, yet I keep forgetting to buy some whenever we are out. So, my husband surprised me with some today and that’s basically what I had for dinner, with some drink called Cade, made out of red grape and sparkling water. It tastes really good, especially when it’s cold.

Bassam went to hang out with one of his friends. I was debating whether to go to Kristi’s or not, but I eventually didn’t go since I’m really tired. Then I got a call from Hana inviting me to her house tomorrow night. So I told I would love to come over!
So that was all. Time for bed. Good night. Sweet dreams.

Much Love, HKA in KSA
