Day 14- More Work at Work!

It was nothing but meetings at work today! I get there at 8 am and as soon as I arrive we begin a meeting which lasted until 10 am. After a 15 minute break, and moving to another room, we had another meeting, with different people and different topics, that lasted till 1 pm! By the time I get back to the office, I had just enough time to check my emails, reply to some related to work, talk to a co-worker about something for next week, and before I knew it, it was 2 pm and time to go home!

I mean, the meetings were important, but on the days where it’s just meetings, I could hardly get any work done. So I might have to take it with me this weekend.

One of the most important topics discussed at the meetings is the new Business Mentoring Diploma that I will be a part of. It’s pretty exciting, but a lot of work. It will require from me to go to work at night, from 5pm-9pm two days out of the week. We were told we will get paid a separate paycheck than the one we are already receiving, but I haven’t received the details of that just yet. So, those 2 days are going to be very lonnnng days!

My husband and I went around running some errands… getting groceries, looking for dining room tables, buying some things for the house.

I made some chicken patty sandwiches today. They were the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store and then just fry. They were ok, but I don’t think I will get them again. They just seemed too fatty for my taste.

Anyway, its bedtime. Sweet dreams.
