Day 11- Great News!

As soon as I arrived to work today, I received a phone call from an important businesswoman in Saudi Arabia. She is well-known for arranging and conducting huge conferences for women dealing with anything related to business. I met her back in April when she had invited our center to participate in the conference. I was supposed to do a workshop called “How to Start Your Small Business-Step by Step”. Last minute, things were changed and we ended up participating as guests with a booth to enlighten people about our center at the university.
She wants to do another conference in November and she wants me to be a guest speaker. How cool is that!? I was very excited when she was asking me and absolutely honored. But I told her that I would have to get the ok from my boss. When I asked my boss, she told me to tell her that we would need an official letter inviting me and the center to the conference.

So, now I’m waiting for this letter and hopefully my boss will ok it because I am really excited to go and be part of it!

Afterwards, I called another businesswoman from Kuwait, who I admire a lot, and she invited me to come to Kuwait to meet her and see her company and see what we can do together. Now, that is just as exciting! Al7emdalla.

So all in all, today I had great news which made me happy.
I’m very thankful to Allah for where I am today. I thank Him for everything!
